COMPACT HANDLING
Pallet trucks & stackers in Canada
For horizontal pallet movement or defined stacking tasks, a pallet truck or stacker may be more suitable than a full-size counterbalance forklift. Begin with the route, load and required height.
Tell us what you need
Separate travel from stacking
A pallet truck primarily moves pallets horizontally; a stacker is intended for specified lifting and stacking duties. Measure load dimensions, fork entry and any pallet design constraints. Confirm that fork or support-leg geometry fits the pallets and racking you use.
Assess the complete route
Include travel distance, thresholds, loading docks, gradients and floor conditions. Ask the supplier about suitability for tail-lift or truck-bed use where relevant. Check the combined equipment and load weight against any lift or floor rating.
Specify energy and ergonomics
Compare walkie and ride-on configurations with travel distance and workflow. Confirm battery charging and the controls and operating position appropriate to the job. Powered equipment still requires suitable training, inspection and workplace procedures.

03STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Questions, answered.
Can a pallet truck stack pallets?
A standard low-lift pallet truck is intended for horizontal movement. Use equipment specifically designed and rated for the required stacking task.
What pallet measurements matter?
Provide overall pallet and load dimensions, fork-entry openings, pallet type, load overhang and required lift height.
